Russell Ray Hearold

A celebration of life for Russell Ray Hearold, 74, a Gardnerville resident for the past 32 years, will be at a later date. Call 265-3666 for information.

Mr. Hearold died Dec. 21, 2003, at home. He was born Aug. 31, 1929, in Missouri to Clyde and Florence Williamson Hearold.

Before moving to Gardnerville, he lived in Sacramento for 35 years.

Mr. Hearold retired from Procter and Gamble in 1970. He was co-owner with his brother, Owen, of Silver State Components in Gardnerville. For the last 25 years, he owned and operated Sheridan Acres Water Co. in Gardnerville with his wife.

He enjoyed camping and hunting. He loved entertaining and barbecues.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva in 2002.

Among his survivors are his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jack Amante of Gardnerville; stepson, Randy Holman of Foster City, Calif.; brothers Owen of Gardnerville and Vern of Elk Grove, Calif.; sister, Loreta Wilson of Sacramento; granddaughters Shannon Coughlin-Amante of Gardnerville and Stacey Horn of South Lake Tahoe; great-grandchildren Amanda, Anthony and Austin, all of Gardnerville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
