Vicki McGowen, the former executive director of the Lake Tahoe, Incline Village & Crystal Bay Visitors Bureau, has been named chairperson of The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival board of directors.
McGowen spent eight years at the visitors bureau before leaving to start McGowen Marketing Services, a professional meeting planning service.
