A service for Frances P. Cyphers, 82, of Bryant, Ill., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home in Canton, Ill., with the Rev. Robert O'Conner officiating.
Visitation is from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be Feb. 22 in Carson City.
Mrs. Cyphers died Feb. 11, 2003, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, Ill. She was born Dec. 10, 1920, in Bryant to Joseph and Angelina Grubisich Tomic.
She married Lewis Cyphers on April 19, 1947. He preceded her in death on April 11, 1976.
She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in St. David, Ill., and St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Carson City.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and five sisters.
Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Priscilla Cyphers of Carson City; daughter, Ann Cyphers of Mexico City; grandchildren Jennifer Guillen and Jose Guillen, both of Mexico City; brothers Frank Tomic of Bryant and Joseph Tomic of Burbank, Calif.; sisters Toni Parchmann of Lewistown,Ill., Hellen Olson of LaGrange Park, Ill., and Sophie Bryerton of Bryant.
Memorial contributions may be made to one of her churches.
