Roland Arthur Nunamaker, a Carson City resident for the past 25 years and former Silver Springs resident, died Feb. 15, 2003, at home. He was born in Berrien Springs, Mich., to Albert and Lula Bliss Nunamaker.
He married Audrey Nauman July 1, 1955, in Lake Zurich, Ill.
Mr. Nunamaker worked in maintenance for the Nevada State Department of Prisons. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the American Legion. He enjoyed reading.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his sons James and Bill; and brother, Merrill.
Among his survivors are his wife, Audrey of Carson City; sons Roy of Carson City and Larry of Lombard, Ill.; and six grandchildren.
No service is scheduled.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
