Renewable energy task force elects officers

Rose McKinney-James, founder of Energy Works Consulting, has been reelected as chair of the Nevada Renewable Energy & Energy Conservation Task Force.

Dr.

Jane Long of the University of Nevada, Reno, was elected vice chair of the organization.

Along with McKinney-James and Long, board members are:

* Robert Balzar, director, energy efficiency and conservation at Sierra Pacific Power Company and Nevada Power Co.

* Tim Carlson, president, Carlson & Associates

* Robert Cooper, senior regulatory analyst in the Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Protection

* Russ Fields, president of the Nevada Mining Association

* Dan Geary, owner of Geary Advertising Agency and Geary Interactive

* Sam Routson, chief executive officer of Winnemucca Farms, Inc.

* Mark Russell, vice president and general counsel of MGM/Mirage The

Nevada Renewable Energy & Energy Conservation Task Force is an advisory body appointed by the governor and legislature.
