DOUGLAS COUNTY

Nevada State Health Division inspections of Douglas County's food-service establishments and the date of inspection (all scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations):

-- Ridge Tahoe/Cocktail Lounge, Stateline, 95, Dec. 4

Relocate cold plates outside of ice used for human consumption. Glass-washer reservoir needs cleaned of scum. Floor sinks need cleaned of mold and scum. Equipment drain lines must terminate at least one inch above floor sink rim. Clean floor of reach-in refrigerator of rust.

-- Ridge Tahoe Restaurant, Stateline, 82, Dec. 4

Ice machine in waitress station did not meet National Sanitation Foundation construction standards. Loose sheet metal allows dirt build-up. Joints not sealed. Microwave ovens were not NSF standard and must be replaced. Equipment drain lines must terminate one inch above floor sink. Kitchen ice machine cuber needs cleaned of scale and black mold.

STOREY COUNTY

Nevada State Health Division inspections of Storey County's food-service establishments and the date of inspection (all scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations):

-- Virginia City High School, Virginia City, 99, Dec. 10

Personnel must wear hair restraints.

-- Virginia City Middle School, Virginia City, 97, Dec. 5

Refrigerator and chest freezer as well as microwaves, crock pots, etc. must be NSF approved. Three compartment sink is needed for doing dishes.

-- Gold Hill Saloon, Gold Hill, 98, Dec. 6

Ice used to chill mixers and chill plate may not be used to make drinks. (A smaller pan with drain holes may be filled with ice and placed on ice covering chill plate.)

-- Lockwood School, 98, Dec. 5

Aluminum foil should not be used as shelf line in refrigerator. Frigidaire freezer must be replaced with NSF approved appliances, also microwaves.
