Obituary: Stevon L. Johnson

A funeral for Stevon L. Johnson, 47, a Las Vegas resident for the past nine years, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.

Viewing will be from 5-7 p.m. this evening at FitzHenry's.

Mr. Johnson died Dec. 30, 2002, at his home. He was born Sept. 19, 1955, in San Diego to Phillip and Nellie Hockett Johnson.

Mr. Johnson was a bartender.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Among his survivors are his wife Patti of Las Vegas; daughters Kathryn Gardner of Dayton, Kimberly Johnson of Gardnerville and Sierra Johnson of Las Vegas; son, Dustin of Las Vegas; brother, Stanley of E Town, Ky.; and sisters Sharon Vargo of Odell, Texas, and Phillis Porter of Dunellon, Fla.

Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
