The Sierra Nevada Concrete
Association will present the fourth annual
Concrete Expo 2003 from 8 a.m. to 4
p.m. Jan. 29 at Lawlor Events Center on
the University of Nevada, Reno campus.
The symposium teaches concrete construction
practices to architects, contractors,
engineers, public works officials,
property managers and students. Some of
the topics to be discussed are increasing
company profits, finding ways to market
businesses, improving productivity, and
cost-saving innovations.
Dr. Ramon Carrasquillo, a professor at
the University of Texas and a concrete
expert, will be the keynote speaker .
Registration is required; the cost is
$35. The registration fee covers entrance
to all seminars, a continental breakfast
