Board members for this year's Reno Film Festival have been elected.
Elected to the board were Jeffrey Marcil, principal in Mackenzie Marcil Marketing/Events/Promotion, president; Wendy Moses, International Services, vice president; and Robert Hemsath, Northern Nevada Bank, secretary/treasurer.
Marcil and Moses served on the board
last year. New members include Mark
Earnest, Chris Fleiner, Mark Neebling
and Becky Swanson and returning board
members include Hemsath, Shane
Derifield, Shelli Fine, Pat Phillips, Patti
Hampton, Matthew Kilburn, John
Richardson and Tamise Van Pelt.
Elected to the festival's advisory board
were Chuck Alvey, Sandee Carleton,
Robin Holabird, Bill Kolton, Bobbi
Lazzarone, Paul McFarlane, Craig
Questa, Sam Stern, Scott Walshaw and
Katrina Wilson.
The fourth annual Reno Film Festival
will feature the "King of Comedy," Jerry
Lewis, among other celebrities. The festival
features films and a "Hollywood
Comes to Reno" screenwriting seminar by
Planetary Voices Institute and the local
Lumiere All Student Film Fest, as well as
a gala and other parties.
