Denver-based Vista Gold Corp.
said last week it's completed its due diligence review of the Long Valley gold project in Mono County, Calif., and will buy the property.
The project, comprising 95 claims covering 1,800 acres, is 30 miles northwest of Bishop, Calif.
It is being acquired under a purchase option agreement with Standard Industrial Metals.
The resource study on the project was performed by Mine Development Associates of Reno, an independent consulting firm, under the supervision of Neil Prenn.
