Alliance Gaming Corp.
will sell its entire gaming route operation consisting of United Coin Machine Co., which operates a slot route based in Reno.
The company said the sale will allow it to continue to focus its efforts on its core asset, Bally Gaming and Systems.
United Coin is slot route operator based in Las Vegas and Reno.
Alliance has entered into a definitive agreement to sell it to
privately-held Century Gaming, Inc., headquartered in Missoula, Mont., for $103 million in cash and $18 million of preferred stock and assumption of approximately $6 million of liabilities.
The transaction is expected to close in early 2004.
