Wal-Mart building sold

Another vacant building in Carson City has found a new owner.

The old Wal-Mart building, across 395 from Supply One, is being bought by a private Los Angeles investor, according to Aiman Noursoultanova, senior associate with CB Richard Ellis in Carson City, which handled the deal.

The deal is expected to close next week, she said.

The investor is looking for tenants now and plans to develop the building for multi-use commercial.

He also hoping to convince the city to install a traffic light on 395, according to the Casino Fandango's Woolf, which would help solve the casino's access problem.
