A celebration of life for George A. "Joe" Tucker, 63, a Carson City resident for the past 30 years, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at his home.
Mr. Tucker died July 22, 2003, at his home. He was born March 21, 1940, in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
Mr. Tucker was the former owner and operator of Tucker's Painting Service in Carson City. He was proud to be a U.S. citizen.
Among his survivors are his wife, Sandra Bjelke Tucker of Carson City; sons James D. Tucker of Riverside, Calif., and Dennis L. Coleman of Carson City; sons and daughters-in-law Robert E. and Susan Coleman of Carson City and Paul J. and Joy Coleman of Carson City; brothers R. James of Reedsport, Ore., and David of Kirkland, Wash.; grandchildren Tanya L. Glidewell, Jason R. Coleman, Nycole G. Coleman and Desyrae L. Coleman; and great-grandchildren Cyrus, Zachary and Mya.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
