Memorial services will be from 4-7 p.m. June 17 at St. Francis of the Woods at Fallen Leaf Lake for Stephanie "Stevie" Kiss a resident of South Lake Tahoe since 1978.
Mrs. Kiss died May 10, 2003, at South Lake Tahoe. She was born June 17, 1930. She was 72.
She was employed as a drug counselor in South Lake Tahoe.
As a teenager Kiss was a bobby-soxer groupie who followed her idol, Frank Sinatra, from concert to concert. After being introduced to the world of jazz she met jazz trumpeter, Red Rodney, who became her first husband. It was jazz that brought her together with her second husband, Richie Kiss.
She was preceded in death by both husbands, her parents; sister Lillian; brother Harry; and nephew Irve.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Rodney of South Lake Tahoe and many dear friends.
