Cindy Buchanan has been named vice president and senior commercial lending officer at Colonial Bank in northern Nevada.
Buchanan spent the past 12 years at U.S.
Bank where she most recently served as vice president, commercial relationship manager.
She earned a bachelor's of business administration from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a masters of business administration from the University of Phoenix.
Buchanan is actively involved in the community and serves as secretary/treasurer for Leadership Reno Sparks and is president of the UNR College of Business Administration Alumni Association.
She is past president of the UNR Young Alumni.
