Philip Ulibarri, marketing coordinator for the Washoe County District Health Department, last week received the WIC Association National Advocacy Award.
The award honors Ulibarri's work to secure National Ad Council representation for WIC, the USDA supplement food and nutrition program for women, infants and children.
