R&R Partners has been awarded a Gold ADDY in the national competition of the American Advertising Federation.
The Reno-based agency was honored for its radio ad, "Is it love...or is it a stroke?" produced for Washoe Medical Center.
R&R's assignment was to produce advertising to educate the community about stroke, while positioning the new Washoe Comprehensive Stroke Center as the area's leader in stroke treatment.
The target audiences included adult men and women, particularly the high risk stroke population, African-Americans, Hispanic and seniors.
At the district level, R&R received 15 awards for the Nevada Commission on Tourism,Washoe Medical Center, and the Reno Film Festival.
The winners of district awards were then submitted for consideration in the national competition.
