Another class action suit has been filed against Reno-based Amerco, claiming that executives misled investors late last year.

The suit, filed by Schiffrin & Barroway in U.S.

District Court in Reno, claims that the company's stock was inflated by optimistic statements from the company shortly before earnings were restated and the company defaulted on a bond issue last autumn.

The suit was filed on behalf of people who bought the stock between Feb.

12, 1998, and Sept.

26, 2002.

Amerco is the parent company of UHaul, but most of the U-Haul operations are headquartered in Phoenix.
