Nevada contractors take national roles

The Associated General Contractors of America recently selected members for their national committees, including eight members from the Nevada Chapter AGC.

The Nevada members are Sheril Bradley, Byars Construction Co., Open Shop Committee; John Breternitz, Q & D Construction, Inc., Construction Marketing Committee; Piero Bullentini, Martin Iron Works, Inc., Contractor Relations Committee and National/Regional Contractors Committee; Dave Clark, Clark & Sullivan Constructors, Construction Marketing Committee; Dee Colfer, Southwest Builders & Development, Inc., Public Relations Committee; Jim Colfer, Southwest Builders & Development, Inc., Public Relations Committee; B.J.

Sullivan, Clark & Sullivan Constructors, Project Delivery Committee and Quality in Construction Committee; Jack Tedford, JNT, Inc., Closely Held Business Committee and Electronic Information Systems Committee.

AGC represents more than 35,000 firms, including 7,500 leading general contractors, and 12,000 specialty-contracting firms.

The Nevada Chapter AGC includes northern Nevada's general contractors, specialty contractors and building professionals who employ an estimated 9,500 workers and are responsible for approximately $350 million in payroll.
