Ruby E. Wells, a Fort Collins, Colo., resident for the past two years, died May 21, 2003. She was born May 9, 1920, in New Sharon, N.J., to Raymond and Sara Richardson.
She married J. Thomas Wells Jan. 2, 1943, in Allentown, N.J.
Before moving to Fort Collins, she lived in Carson City from 1978 to 2000.
Mrs. Wells was a member of the Baptist Church in Allentown for many years. She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Carson City and the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Collins. She remained a member of the Mourning Star Chapter of the Eastern Star, Hamilton Square, N.J., and the Carson City Natives and Newcomers.
She was preceded in death by her husband and brothers, Elmer Richardson and Harry Richardson.
Among her survivors are her daughter Diana Justin, of Nunn, Colo.; sons and daughters-in-law Raymond and Sharon, of Hamilton, Mont., and Robert and Jill, of Carson City; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at a later date.
