A celebration of life for Paul W. Watkins, 29, a Carson City resident for nine months, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at St. Paul's Lutheran Family Church in Carson City.
Mr. Watkins died in February 2002, in Lyon County. He was born Nov. 29, 1972, in Yuma, Ariz., to Robert D. and Nancy Kinzer Watkins.
He graduated from Luray High School in 1991, attended junior college and graduated from a radio announcer school in Virginia.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Luray.
Mr. Watkins worked at the Carson City Wal-Mart in the pet department. He enjoyed playing tennis and watching the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Dodgers.
Among his survivors are his parents of Dayton; brothers, Todd and Rob, of Bridgewater, Va.; sisters, Melodie, of Sacramento, and Trish, of Westminster, Colo.; nieces, Jessica, Nicole, Charity and Kaylee; eight cousins, two aunts, four uncles and grandmothers, Kay Cave, of Carson City and Anne Kinzer, of San Jose, Calif.
Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
