A funeral for Luceal Buckles, 89, a Carson City resident for the past 14 years, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. today.
Mrs. Buckles died Nov. 9, 2003, in Carson City. She was born Nov. 6, 1914, in Broken Arrow, Okla., to Ernest and Vina James Riley.
She married Norman L. Buckles in 1992.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Winnemucca.
Mrs. Buckles owned and operated Westmoreland Convalescent Hospital in Sarasota, Calif. She also owned and operated businesses while in Winnemucca.
She was a member of the Hospital Association in Sarasota.
She was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Westmoreland, in 1990.
Among her survivors are her husband and stepson James, both of Carson City; daughters, Joan Williford of Sacramento, Calif., Bonnie Lewis of Lacey, Wash. and Janice Westmoreland of Delhi, Calif.; stepdaughter, Cindy Edwards of Carson City; sisters, Lena Livers of Hollister, Calif. and Leona Lloyd of Yontville, Calif.; brothers, Isom Riley of Ada, Okla. and Leo Riley of Napa, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Burial will be at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
