A funeral for Regina Louise (Conway) Ruiz, 42, a Yerington resident, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Yerington Tribal Gymnasium with burial at Valley View Cemetery.
Mrs. Ruiz died Nov. 16, 2003, at the Washoe Medical Center of cancer. She was born June 10, 1961, in Schurz. She was raised in Yerington, graduated from Yerington High School in 1979, lived in Reno from 1980-1996 and then returned to Yerington.
Mrs. Ruiz worked for Jay Dini at Dini's Lucky Club.
She was preceded in death by her mother Frances Conway.
Among her survivors are her children Francisca Montez, Lucia Ruiz and Ramiro Ruiz; grandchildren Jessica, Janessa and Jessenia Montez; sister Karla Conway; brothers Mike and Vince Conway; niece Amanda Hernandez; nephew Kris Conway and many others.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
