of Reno said it lost $671,638 on revenues of $308,192 in the quarter ended Sept.
30.
This compares with a loss of $838,602 on revenues of $391,468 in the comparable quarter a year earlier.
The company said it cut costs, improved operating margins and posted a gain of $165,000 on the sale of an investment during the most recent quarter.
On the other hand, interest costs rose by $19,000.
Itronics is involved in recycling photochemical wastes into fertilizer.
It also operates Whitney &Whitney Inc., a mining consulting firm.
