Nevada's first official tourism and trade mission to China leaves Oct. 9.
Lt. Gov. Lorraine Hunt will lead the delegation to Beijing and Shanghai, Hong Kong and Macau.
They will meet with Chinese officials to develop trade and tourism with Nevada.
"China is the world's fastest growing economy and presents golden opportunities to develop and increase lucrative new tourism and trade opportunities for Nevada," said Hunt, who chairs both the tourism and economic development commissions for the state.
The 10 day mission will feature numerous meetings with tourism agencies as well as manufacturers and business investors in China.
The delegation includes not only Hunt, tourism director Bruce Bommarito and Economic Development Director Bob Shriver but a number of business and resort representatives.
