William Clarence (Bill) LeRoux, age 61, beloved husband, son, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Sept. 29, 2003, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Reno. Mr. LeRoux was born on Nov. 25, 1941, in Alpena, Mich., to Clarence and Mary Eva LeRoux.
Mr. LeRoux lived in Carson City from 1978 to 1983. During this time he was very active in AYSO. In 1983, the family relocated to central California. In 2001, Bill and his wife, Patricia, returned to Carson City in retirement. Mr. LeRoux spent the last 2 1/2 years golfing, camping and working part time at Thunder Canyon Golf Course.
Mr. LeRoux is survived by his wife, Patricia; son, Brian William LeRoux of Clinton, Utah; daughters Dianne Theresa Gerrity of Detroit and Linda Ann Hoffman of Ione, Calif.; grandchildren Alanna Erin Gerrity and Aidan Connor Gerrity; father, Clarence LeRoux of Alpena; brothers James LeRoux of Las Vegas and Thomas LeRoux of Royal Oak, Mich.; sisters Enola Shea of Alpena and Mary Kuchnicki of Petoskey, Mich.; and 12 nieces and nephews.
A rosary was said at Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley. There will be a Mass of Christian burial today at 9 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 5335 Snyder Ave., Carson City.
