Adam Mayberry, spokesman for the Airport Authority of Washoe County, is joining the office of Rep.
Jon Porter (R-NV) as spokesperson.
Mayberry was previously chief spokesman for Clark County during the construction of the DGates at McCarran Airport.
He is a candidate for a masters degree in political science at the University of Nevada, Reno.
He will replace Traci Scott, who is heading to Iraq to work as a press officer for the Coalition Provisional Authority headed by Ambassador L.
Paul Bremer.
