Istvan Nagy, 67, a Carson City resident for the past 13 years, died Oct. 28, 2003, in Reno. He was born Sept. 3,1936, in Budapest, Hungary, to Istvan and Ilona Baracsy Nagy.
He graduated from Budapest Jewelry Trade School. He came to the United States in 1970 from Budapest. Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Honolulu, Hawaii and Florida.
Mr. Nagy worked in Naples, Fla. and Hungary in the jewelry business.
Among his survivors are his daughter Ilona and son Istvan, both of Holland; brother Joseph A. of and Bala, both of Carson City; sister Ilona Csecs of Oceanside, Calif., and two grandchildren.
No service will be held. Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
