Rick DeMar, executive officer of the Builders Association of Western Nevada, received a presidential appointment to the Board of Directors of the Executive Officers Council of the National Association of Home Builders by the EOC President-Elect Mark Harrison of HBA Illinois.
This is a two-year appointment that includes creating policy and programs to help the 805 executive officers of the E.O.C.
better manage their local associations.
DeMar has been the BAWN's executive officer for two years.
He has also served seven years on its board of directors and a four- year term on the Carson City School District Board of Trustees.
