The Foundation for the Betterment of Carson City Parks and Recreation is requesting nominations for people, organizations and businesses that have contributed to parks and recreation in 2002.
Categories to be awarded are:
-- Organization of the Year
-- Business of the Year
-- Volunteer of the Year
-- Volunteer of the Year
One name from each category will be selected and their name placed on the Memorial Wall at the entrance to the Pony Express Pavilion.
Mail nominations with biographies to Carson City Parks Foundation, 181 Heidi Circle, Carson City, 89701. Deadline for submissions is Sept. 30.
