Obituary: Donald C. Peabody

Donald C. Peabody, 81, a Dayton resident for the past 13 years, died Sept. 10, 2003, in Carson City. He was born June 27, 1922, in Turtle Creek, Pa.

After graduating from high school in 1941, he was a medic in the U.S. Army during World War II in Alaska and Germany.

He married Hilde I. Kuttner March 23, 1948, in Yeadon, Pa.

Before moving to Dayton, he lived in Santa Monica, Calif., and in South Lake Tahoe.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilde in 1999.

He is survived by his stepdaughters Rennie Fenwick of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Rebecca Ward of Dayton; and niece Joanne Hawkbridge of South Carolina.

At his request, no service will be held.
