Lisa Jean Miller LaVallee

A Mass for Lisa Jean Miller LaVallee, 42, a South Lake Tahoe resident for the past 13 years, will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1041 Lyons Ave., in South Lake Tahoe.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday at Family Options Mortuary, 3336 Sandy Way.

Mrs. LaVallee died April 4, 2004, at Barton Memorial Hospital. She was born June 28, 1961, in Huntington Park, Calif.

She was in the furniture business at Lake Tahoe. She loved animals and was very involved with the Lake Tahoe Humane Society.

Among her survivors are her husband, Patrick and mother, Mary Brasuell, both of South Lake Tahoe; father, Gene Miller of Martinez, Calif.; brother, Jeff Miller and sister, Valerie Brasuell, both of South Lake Tahoe; half-brothers Dillon and Tanner Miller of Martinez; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Burial will be at Happy Homestead Cemetery.
