Clara Elizabeth Miller, 92, a Carson City resident for the past three years, died April 11, 2004, in Carson City. She was born May 10, 1911, in Pueblo, Colo., to Carlos F. and Ethel Lee Cook Burton.

She graduated from Centennial High School in Pueblo in 1929, and from Minnequa School of Nursing in Pueblo.

She married C. Emil Miller Feb. 10, 1934, in Pueblo. He preceded her in death April 9, 2001, in Pueblo.

Mrs. Miller was a registered nurse. She was a member of the Girl Scouts of America.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sons James M. and Burton L.

Among her survivors are her daughter, Barbara Prudic of Carson City; daughter-in-law, Margo Miller of Los Angeles; friends Ethel Boedecker of Pueblo and David S. Ziegler of Carson City; and five grandchildren.

Inurnment will be in Pueblo.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Western Nevada Community College Foundation, 2201 W. College Parkway, Carson City, NV 89703, to the general nursing scholarship fund.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
