Tania Kruger, 78, a Carson City resident for the past 16 years, died April 17, 2004, at home. She was born Jan. 25, 1926, in China to Nicholas and Ksenia Karmadonoff. She received her education in China.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Menlo Park, Calif.

Mrs. Kruger worked at the Emporium in Palo Alto, Calif. She belonged to the Russian Orthodox church.

Among her survivors are her husband, Edward of Carson City; sons Dimitry Vishnevsky of Palmdale, Calif., and Victor Vishnevsky of Florida; sister, Nadia Sinkewich of Menlo Park; daughter-in-law, Regena Vishnevsky of Palmdale; and four grandchildren.

No service will be held.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
