Ida Carlotta Waldron, 91, a Stagecoach resident for the past two years, died March 24, 2004, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital of pneumonia. She was born July 13, 1912, in Ottawa, Iowa, to Herbert and Maudie Piper Huffman.

She attended high school in Iowa.

Before moving to Stagecoach, she lived in Carson City for 24 years.

Mrs. Waldron worked in the Kaiser Hospital Cafeteria, retiring in 1978. She was a Methodist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis in 1984; and daughter Carole Louise Freyer in 1998.

Among her survivors are her children Connie Rae Pauli of Dayton, Jeanette Mae Chopak of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., Louella Jane Harding of Tustin, Calif., and Ronald Louis Waldron and Terry Wayne Waldron, both of Stagecoach; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Private family burial was held March 27, 2004.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
