Maureen Cross, 60, a Minden resident for the past 12 years, died Aug. 9, 2004, in Reno. She was born Nov. 9, 1943, in Los Angeles to Leonard and Veronica Ingoldsby.
She graduated from Providence High School in 1961.
Before moving to Minden, she lived in Burbank, Calif., for 48 years.
Mrs. Cross was secretary to Dr. Edward Greaney, the business owner of It's A Zoo in Burbank; and for the Douglas County School District. She was a Catholic.
Among her survivors are her husband, Charles, and sons Charlie and Michael, all of Minden; daughters Sheryl Lefmann of Duarte, Calif., and Theresa Taylor of LaCrescenta, Calif.; grandchildren Kalan, Brendan and Jessica; great-grandson Kale; brothers Brian, Lenny and Dave; and sisters Sheila, Roni and Joani.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
