Gerald 'Jerry' MacDonald Bradbury

Gerald "Jerry" MacDonald Bradbury, a Carson City resident for the past three years, died Dec. 2, 2004, at Tahoe Pacific Hospital in Reno. He was 75.

He was born Jan. 2, 1929, in Chicago to Edwin and Margaret MacDonald Bradbury.

Mr. Bradbury married Lois Shay May 12, 1951, in Chicago.

Mr. Bradbury came to Carson City from Arlington Heights, Ill. He owned and operated Jerry's Auto Service Station in Glenview, Ill. He was a Shriner and Mason and enjoyed dogs.

Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; son and daughter-in-law Robert and Diane of Marengo, Ill.; daughter and son-in-law Jarill and Glenn Ristine of Carson City; sister Margaret Bradbury of Pacific Grove, Calif., six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Family services will be held in Illinois at a later date.

Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
