A graveside service for Wilson Marzell "Bill" Smith, 87, a Carson City resident for the past 10 years, will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday at FitzHenry's.
Mr. Smith died Dec. 12, 2004, at Evergreen Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born Aug. 22, 1917, in Corona, N.M., to Ben and Cora Baker Smith.
He spent most of his life in West Texas.
He was a member of Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church and helped to start a Nazarene church in this area.
He was preceded death by his wife, Irene, eight months ago.
Among his survivors are his brother, Dessy of Cameron, Okla.; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanie and Larry Olson of Altadena, Calif.; sons and daughters-in-law David and Edie of Nampa, Idaho, John and Christine of Richmond, Texas, and Michael and Terry Smith of Carson City; and granddaughters Jenelle Baldwin and Stephanie Williams, both of Carson City.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
