A visitation for Wayne E. Rasmussen, a Washoe Valley resident for four years, will be Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.
Mr. Rasmussen died Dec. 17, 2004 at his home. He was 47. He was born Jan. 25, 1957, in Richmond, Calif., to Fern (Wunderlich) and Vernon Rasmussen.
Mr. Rasmussen worked in construction. He moved to the area from Camptonville, Calif. He was Catholic.
He is survived by his mother, Fern Palmer of Washoe Valley; sons Perry, Wayne and Jeremy of Oregon; daughter Stephene of Texas; grandchildren Megan, Owen and Jaben; brothers Dale of Syracuse, N.Y., Alan of Camptonville, Calif., and Brian of Carson City; sisters Linda Hinds of Commerce City, Colo., and Ellen Genosick of San Pablo, Calif.
A graveside service will follow visitation at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
