The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty:
- A 24-year-old Carson City roofer was arrested at 4:09 a.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of Columbia Way on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $4,264.
- An 18-year-old, unemployed Carson City man was arrested at noon Friday at Carson High School in the 1100 block of North Saliman Road on suspicion of misdemeanor loitering/trespassing and or causing a nuisance inside a school, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $2,210.
- Another 18-year-old, unemployed Carson City man was arrested at noon Friday at Carson High School in the 1100 block of North Saliman Road on suspicion of misdemeanor loitering/trespassing and or causing a nuisance inside a school, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $2,210.
- A 19-year-old, unemployed Gardnerville woman was arrested at noon Friday at Carson High School in the 1100 block of North Saliman Road on suspicion of misdemeanor loitering/trespassing and or causing a nuisance inside a school. Bail was set at $347.
- Kyle Andrew Bates, a 19-year-old Carson City car washer, was arrested at 1:45 a.m. Friday at the Carson City Jail on Musser Street on suspicion of felony passing forged instrument. Bail was set at $5,000.
- A 30-year-old Hawthorne carpenter was arrested at 9:23 a.m. Friday on the corner of West College Parkway and Ormsby Boulevard on a misdemeanor warrant out of Carson for contempt and on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,530.
- Justin Cox, a 30-year-old Hawthorne man of unknown employment, was arrested at 3 p.m. Friday at the Sheriff's Department in the 800 block of Musser Street on suspicion of felony uttering a forged instrument. Bail was set at $9,029.
- A 50-year-old Carson City man of unknown employment was arrested at 11:25 a.m. Friday on the corner of Roop and William streets on suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense driving under the influence. Bail was set at $2,632.
- A 28-year-old man of unknown residence and unknown employment was arrested at 11 a.m. Friday on the corner of Woodside and Stanton drives on suspicion of misdemeanor destruction of property and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,764.
- Kasse Alan Weikel, and 18-year-old Carson City student, was arrested at 10:10 a.m. Friday at Carson High School in the 1100 block of North Saliman Road on suspicion of gross misdemeanor possession of a dangerous weapon on school grounds. Bail was set at $2,500.
n Deputies responded to the following calls:
- A report at 8:32 a.m. Friday in the 550 block of West College Parkway of a child wandering unsupervised with no shoes in a diaper and shirt. A baby-sitter was found and the child's father was notified.
- A report at 10:15 a.m. Friday in the 1200 block of Woodside Drive of a man who was kicking the reporting party's vehicle. The man was later arrested for injury to a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- A report at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the 40 block Clear Creek Avenue of a woman with possible mental problems who came into the reporting party's house and demanded to see all her clothes.
- A report at 3:39 p.m. Friday in the 4000 block of South Carson Street of a man who called from a motel in Colorado Springs, Colo., to say there would be a bomb at the Taco Bell in Carson City. Detectives in Carson City and Colorado Springs were notified.
- A report at 12:24 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Burton Street of a car windshield broken.
- A report at 4:02 a.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of Columbia Way of a suicidal subject armed with a knife.
- A report at 5:30 a.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of West College Parkway of a man about 25 years old who grabbed a woman by the throat and pushed her to the ground. He reportedly stole two cell phones and left the area headed north in a red Honda.
- A report at 9:09 a.m. Saturday in the 3000 block of North Ormsby of an employee at the Evergreen Center who was battered by another employee.
