Kingdom Ventures of Minden said last week it sold three operating units and plans to focus on Christian media and products.

The publicly held company said it sold Xtreme Notebooks of Carson City back to the computer company's founders.

Kingdom Ventures purchased the firm in April 2002.

Kingdom Ventures said it sold Christian Speakers & Artists Agency, which it purchased last June, and Sierra Candles to outside entities.

After selling the three companies, President Gene Jackson said Kingdom Ventures will focus on national expansion of Christian Times Today, a newspaper company, and further development of JoBasic Inc., a cause-related marketing company that uses the Internet.

Kingdom Ventures also will continue to operate Mr.

Roy Productions Inc., a silk-screen and embroidery production shop.

The company's common stock was up about 7 percent on the news of its new focus.
