Elta Berniece Olson, 95, a Carson City resident for the past 10 years, died Feb. 24, 2004, in Carson City. She was born Nov. 6, 1908, in Divernon, Ill., to Harry A. and Flora B. Adcox Baines.
She married Lawrence J. Olson July 19, 1928, in Rockford, Ill.
She lived in Anaheim, Calif., for most of her life.
Mrs. Olson was a seamstress at a swimsuit manufacturing company. She worked in a munitions plant during World War II. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister.
Among her survivors are her daughter, Jean Kirkham of Tulsa, Okla.; brother, Bob Baines of Michigan City, Ind.; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service and burial will be at the Anaheim Cemetery in Anaheim.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
