Dee Abbott, a Gardnerville resident for the past six years, died Feb. 28, 2004. She was born Nov. 23, 1929, in San Juan Batista, Calif.
Mrs. Abbott worked for the Carson Valley Inn for five years. She loved to play golf and bowl. She was a fan of the San Francisco Giants and the 49ers and never missed a game.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Clarence; and youngest daughter, Suzette DeSelle.
Among her survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law Diana and Tim Isham of Gardnerville, Cathleen Kelley and Rick Lallement of Lake Havasu, Ariz., and Candice and Paul Dowell of Gardnerville; grandchildren Keith Isham, Sean Kelley and Kristen Worden; great-grandchildren Kindel Isham and Janine and Zachery Worden; and sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Gene Sawatzky of Pleasanton, Calif.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
