Georgeann "Ann" Ritchie, 75, a Carson City resident for the past 14 years, died Jan. 3, 2004, in Carson City. She was born Sept. 11,1928, in Superior, Wis., to James and Autleygne Fleischmann Culhane.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Las Vegas.
Mrs. Ritchie started out as a bookkeeper. After moving to Carson City, she worked at Clear Creek Camp in the cafeteria then for the Nevada Legislature in the maintenance department. She was a past member of the League of Women Voters.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Bruce Haskell in 1955, Bert Haskell in 1984 and Johnny Simmons in 1994.
Among her survivors are her daughters Patricia Painter of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Beverly Marcussen of Modesto, Calif., and Kathy Anderson of Pleasanton, Calif.; sister, Anita Brock of Hayward, Calif.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
At her request, no service will be held.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
