A memorial service for Frances Hanus, 71, a Carson City resident for the past four years, will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Teresa Chapel.
Mrs. Hanus died Jan. 18, 2004. She was born in Mount Pleasant, Pa., to Lewis and Frances Zylka.
She graduated from the Mercy School of Nursing in Detroit in 1954 with registered nurse and bachelor of science degrees.
She married Joseph on July 1953, in Toledo, Ohio.
Mrs. Hanus was a member of St. Teresa's Church choir and American Legion Post 56 Auxiliary.
Among her survivors are her husband; son, Mark L.; and daughters Diane Wood, Mary Ham and Kathy Lack.
Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities or Friends in Service Helping.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
