Dawn Suzanne Crawford

.A funeral for Dawn Suzanne Crawford, 25, of Gridley, Calif., will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Valley View Assembly of God Church in Gridley with the Rev. Dwight Deaton officiating.

Ms. Crawford died Jan. 16, 2004, at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento of a lifelong illness. She was born Jan. 20, 1978, in Carson City. At the age of 2, she moved to Gridley to live with her grandparents H. Wayne and Nadeen Crawford.

She graduated from Gridley Union High School and attended classes at Butte College until her death. She was a member of the Valley View Assembly of God Church and an honorary member of Laureate Zeta Iota Sorority.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Clinton and Audie Boyette, aunt Helen Riddlesterger and cousin Mark Harvey.

Among her survivors are her father, Duane Crawford of Carson City; mother and stepfather, Debra S. and Wayne Burton of Reno; paternal grandparents H. Wayne and Nadeen Crawford of Gridley; uncles David Crawford and Jonathan Crawford, both of Carson City; and aunt and husband Virginia and Lawrence Harvey of Fortuna, Calif.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the Valley View Assembly of God Church.

There will be a private burial.
