The Outdoor Recreation Show, which is a live, one-hour telecast about the outdoors, is telecast every Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. on Carson Access Television Channel 10.

The outdoor show is also a taped rebroadcast on Wednesdays at 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m. and Saturdays at 8 a.m. in the Carson City-Dayton-Stagecoach-Silver Springs area.

It can also be seen at various times on Carson Valley Public Access Television Channel 26 in Douglas County.

Its featured guest on Tuesday, July 27 will be Mickey Daniels of Carnelian Bay at North Lake Tahoe, Calif.

Daniels is a sportfishing guide at Lake Tahoe (Mickey's Big Mack Charters) who specializes in fishing in deep water for Mackinaw (Lake) trout.

Each year on the first Friday evening in August, Daniels hosts the "Big Mack Feed," a barbecue held outside of the clubhouse of the Tahoe City Golf Course.

That golf course is located on the northwest side of Lake Tahoe at Tahoe City, Calif.

Tahoe City is about a 50 mile drive from Carson City via a combination of U.S. 395 to Spooner Summit and then Nevada S.R. 28 and California S.R. 28, around the north shore of Lake Tahoe.

The Big Mack Feed is a special fund raiser that generates funds for worthwhile causes in the North Lake Tahoe-Truckee area.

Through the past years, those recipients have included the North Lake Tahoe high school football team, the North Lake Tahoe-Truckee Search and Rescue Unit, the Senior Citizens Center and Safe Graduation Night for North Lake Tahoe High School.

It's a fund raiser with a totally different twist.

For tickets or information about the Big Mack Feed, call Daniels at (800) 877-1462.
