Summit Engineering of Reno last week received a $185,420 contract to design the Vista-Prater sanitary sewer interceptor in eastern Sparks.
A study of the Sparks sewer system in 2001 concluded that more sewer capacity is needed in the fast-growing area around Vista Boulevard and Prater Way.
