Norma Jean Sinette, 76, a Carson City resident since 1979, died June 24, 2004, in Carson City.

At her request, no services will be held.

Mrs. Sinette was born Sept. 1, 1927, in Ponca City, Okla., to Tom and Bertha Ditzler Morris.

She married Darrell J. Sinette. Prior to living in Carson City she resided in Canyon Country, Calif.

Mrs. Sinette worked many years as an executive secretary in the aerospace industry. After moving to Nevada she worked for the Nevada Department of Transportation, retiring in 1988.

She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and oil painting.

She was preceded in death by her son Kevin Neidig in 2003, and daughter Cynthia Sinette in 2003.

Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; sons Brian of Riverside, Calif., Craig Neidig of San Diego, and Jeffery Neidig of Carson City; daughter Darylyn Diffenbaugh of Tehachapi, Calif.; sister Betty Jackson of Ponca City seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
