A graveside service for William E. Luck, 68, a Silver Springs resident for the past 10 years, will be with military honors at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.
Mr. Luck died June 29, 2004, in Carson City. He was born Oct. 11, 1935, in Woodland, Calif., to William and Ruth Luck.
Before moving to Silver Springs, he lived in Shingle Springs, Calif.
Mr. Luck retired from Operating Engineers in 1993. He was a Catholic.
He served in the U.S. Navy for four years during the Korean War.
Among his survivors are his wife, Paula of Silver Springs; daughters Sue Oden of Texas, Dr. Ginger Luck of Tennessee, Sonia Luck of California and Amy Rochette of Nebraska; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
